Network Environment: Full offline support. All core recording, classification, query and PDF export features work without an internet connection. No user data is ever uploaded or synced to the cloud.

Permissions: Only camera and photo library access for bottle label shooting and image binding. No location, microphone, tracking or other sensitive permissions are required.

Performance: For the best experience, please keep your device’s operating system updated to the latest official iOS version.

Storage: Ensure your device has sufficient available storage to save local tasting logs, label photos and exported PDF files.

Frequently Asked Questions

The app crashes or freezes during use

Close background apps to free up device memory and processing power. Ensure your device has enough available storage space. Restart your device to clear temporary cache files. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app.

Cannot take photos or load album images normally

Confirm that you have granted camera and photo library permission to WineCellar Log in your device Settings. Excessively high-resolution images may cause loading failure. Retry after freeing up device memory if you encounter image loading errors.

Will updating the app delete my local tasting data?

Normal app updates will not delete your saved tasting logs, label photos, flavor tags and personalized notes. To avoid accidental data loss in extreme cases, please back up important records manually before major version updates.

Failed to export PDF files

Check whether your device has sufficient remaining storage space. Do not exit the app during PDF generation. After completion, you can view the exported files in the system file manager or share them via system channels.

Category filtering and sorting are abnormal

Exit and re-enter the library page to refresh local data. Restart the app if the data display is disordered to restore normal classification and sorting functions.

Dark mode display is abnormal

Dark mode only changes the visual UI theme and will not affect any locally stored tasting data. Toggle the system dark mode switch again or restart the app to fix visual display glitches.
